Stop Despising Jobs - Prime Minister Nabbanja

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja joined Christians at St Andrea Kaahwa Shrine, Kakumiro Town Parish in Kakumiro district, in a mass that was organized to celebrate the New Year 2023.

Addressing the followers, Nabbanja decried the need for most Ugandans to work hard and improve their livelihood.

She denounced the negative mindset towards certain jobs that some people have adopted, arguing that this will keep them poor.

Referring to the President’s New Year message, Nabbanja highlighted that government will this year ensure provision of small scale irrigation schemes to deal with adverse weather conditions.

Nabbanja asked Ugandans still outside the money economy to task their leaders at parish level on the progress of the Parish Development Model (PDM).

During the service, parents were encouraged to ensure that they prepare their children to become better and responsible citizens.
