Boda boda to pay 60,000 Ushs for training

Briefing journalists this morning at Uganda Media Center, the State Minister of Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs said that the Ministry Of Works will concentrate on six key areas while training the boda boda riders.

However, Engineer Karim Kibuka, the Inspector of Vehicles in Ministry of Works and Transport notes that the Government has partially facilitated the training.

Recent operations on Boda Bodas in Kampala  indicates that 90% of Boda Bodas don't have driving permits, 234 are missing National Identification Cards,94% have no insurance,73%have no documentation and  98% have no Public Service licenses.
