Archbishop Kaziimba urges Clergy to avail time to their families amidst the demanding call ministry

The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba, Archbishop of the Church of Uganda has urged clergy to save for retirement, have prayer partners, uphold integrity and have enough time for their families besides their demanding ministry.

The Archbishop made the statement in a meeting with the Clergy of the North Mbale region during his pastoral visit to the diocese over the weekend, which he concluded on Monday.

Bishop Samuel Gidudu of North Mbale diocese who led a procession that warmly welcomed the Archbishop in the diocese led him to various projects including the Cathedral under construction whose completion he prayed for.

Archbishop Kaziimba also visited Sironko Child Development Centre, a project for pregnant women with about 279 beneficiaries in North Mbale Diocese and appreciated Compassion International for their support.

He also met with Headteachers of Church of Uganda founded primary and secondary schools in the diocese and urged them to uphold humility, integrity and selfless service.

The Archbishop appreciated the Christians in the Diocese of North Mbale for the warm reception and for the projects they have been working on.
