Ankole Youths Urged To Repent Their Sins

Youths in the Dioceses of Greater Ankole have been urged to repent and ask God for forgiveness of their sins which are hampering transformation.

The call was made by the Bishop of Ankole Diocese Rt. Rev. Amos Magezi while delivering a sermon at the 11th youth and children convention hosted by Ankole diocese.

The convention that has attracted thousands of youths from different parts of Ankole diocese is a meant to inculcate the youth with a message of total transformation.

Bishop Amos Magezi, a bible expositor at the convention, asked the youths to repent and fear sin saying that God panishes sinners and the conviction of sin is death. He advised them to dedicate their life to God.

Bishop Emeritus of Cyangugu Diocese in Rwanda Geoffrey Rwubusisi in his sermon as a guest preacher told the youths to get back to God as he will close them with grace, answer all their challenges and lift them to a better life.

Rev. Richard Rukundo- Chaplain Bishop Stuart University asked the youth to tell their parents to come back to church and serve the Lord. He asked them to keep the spirit developed in the fellowship.
