Namirembe Youths Trained To Use Talents

The Diocese of Namirembe has held its annual Music Dance and Drama gala with call to the youth to maximize their talents in serving God.

During the gala, the diocese used the competitions to celebrate the first martyrs in the Anglican Church.

The three martyrs celebrated are Yusuf Lugalama, Nuwa Sserwanga, Mako Kakumba in Namirembe diocese

Speaking at the event attended by hundreds of youths, Rev. Augustine Kayemba, the Chaplain of St. Apollo Kivebulaya in Nkumba urged the youth to serve God through their talents emulating the martyrs.

The Vice Chairperson of Namirembe Diocese Youth Department, Mukasa Ivan says that the annual event is organized to spiritually strengthen the young people to socialize and promote their talents.

Youth leaders emphasized the need for continued support to talented youth uphold their talents.

The event attracted students, religious leaders and youths who participated in various activities such poems, dances, drama and music.
