GAFCON Delegates Declare Separation From Church Of Canterbury And England Over LGBTQ
The global Anglican future conference (GAFCON) ended with members cutting spiritual ties with the archbishop of Canterbury and England
These are unhappy with the Church of England giving leeway to the practice of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.
The GAFCON began on the 17th of this month from Kigali, Rwanda, and was hosted by archbishop Laurent Mbanda and the Anglican Church of Rwanda.

He noted that the GAFCON longer recognizes the archbishop of the Church of England as their leader.
His grace, Dr. Kaziimba thanked all the participants who gathered from different nations to attend the conference and the church of Uganda family tv that single-handedly broadcasted the conference from the start to the end.
Archbishop of Canterbury and other leaders of the Church of England due to their public statements in support of same-sex blessings, Gafcon leaders asked for prayers from the public and reiterated the commitment to take up Christians who are stranded because of the betrayal of their ordination and consecration vows to banish error and to uphold and defend the truth taught in scripture.
He added that the next decade will be dedicated to prayer and the mission of discipleship.
His grace Kaziimba Mugalu commended the president of Uganda Yoweri Museveni for his stand against homosexuality.
He hopes members of parliament will improve the returned anti-homosexuality bill immediately and return it to the president to sign into law.
Yesterday the government chief whip Hamson Obua told journalists that the anti-homosexuality bill is set to be returned to the house by the president for reconsideration.
This year’s conference theme has been “To whom shall we go”.
