Bishop Kahuma Launches Kabubwa Church Project

The Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara Diocese, Rt. Rev. Samuel Kahuma Abwooli launched the construction of a multi-million Kabubwa Church construction project. He also confirmed of over 100 children at Kabubwa C.O.U parish in Kakumiro district.

In his first pastoral visit to Kabubwa church of Uganda Parish in Kakumiro district, the Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara Rt. Rev. Samuel Kahuma Abwooli confirmed over 100 children, blessed the newly constructed church, and commissioned the construction of priest’s residents and construction of the church’s commercial business.

Bishop Kahuma urged Christians to be conscious about environmental degradation which he says is responsible for global warming, famine and poverty asking Kakumiro residents to work hard and preserve the environment in its natural beauty.

Dr. Wilford Lordson Kirungi an epidemiologist from the Health Ministry who donated modern 20 church seats worth sh25m says the donation is in memory of his late father William Leo Kakembo who was among the pioneers of the church.

He asked the youth to shun some social media obscene message responsible for moral decadence.

Rev. Edward Twesigye the new parish priest Kabubwa church of Uganda parish in Kakumiro says that for the last 55 years the church had never had a priest's accommodation.

 (I was deployed here for a purpose, am praying hard with Christians to curse satanic acts. I want to thank Bishop Samuel Kahuma for visiting my parish and confirming over 100 children and commissioning church projects’’.)

The Head of laity Canon Asiimwe Christopher named challenges of the church and asked well-wishers to render necessary assistance to the church for its developmental Projects.

Over 200 Christians received Jesus Christ as their personal savior and over sh10m was realized in cash for the church projects.
