Bishop Jacob Ateirweho Of Bunyoro Kitara Calls For Unity In The Diocese

On August 11th, 2024, thousands gathered in Hoima City, Bunyoro Kitara Diocese for the consecration and enthronement of The Rt. Rev. Jacob Ateirweho as the 6th Bishop of the Diocese.

Following this significant event, COU Family TV had the privilege of visiting Bishop Jacob at his palace for an in-depth conversation.
The new Bishop expressed his deep gratitude for God's call to serve the people of Bunyoro and outlined his vision for the diocese while calling on Christians for their support and cooperation.
It was a moment of joy on the 11th of August 2024 in Bunyoro Region as Rt. Rev Jacob Ateirweho was consecrated and enthroned as the 6th Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara Diocese.

COU Family TV visited the newly enthroned Bishop Jacob at his palace in Hoima City. During our engagement, Bishop Jacob expressed his deep appreciation to God for the honour and responsibility of his new role.

Rt. Rev. Jacob Ateirweho recounts the journey that led him to his current position.

The Bishop narrates some of what he aspires to do with God's help, including preaching the gospel of Christ.

Also, his plans do not sideline the social-economic factor and he aims to ensure that people in the Diocese are well off financially since according to him that is the stability of the church.

The new Bishop seeks cooperation from the people of Bunyoro noting that there will be overall development if unity prevails.
